Niah Merrill
Niah studied Mass Media for his B.A. degree and then went on to receive his M. A. degree in Organizational Communication in 2012. Niah grew up on the road traveling with his family’s third-generation ministry (the Musical Merrills, which later became Merrill Ministries). His family of eight travelled nationwide performing almost nightly in churches, schools, and camps to hold services, conferences, original VBS programs and concerts to a wide range of audiences. When Niah arrived at Bob Jones University, he continued his stage work by performing in the Classic Players drama troupe, Living Gallery, Wind Band, University Chorale, as well as several student leadership offices. During his graduate work, he managed one of BJU’s theaters and gained more valuable experience working alongside faculty and student-led productions. In May, 2012, Niah rejoined Merrill Ministries to lead the music and children’s programs along with his wife, Allisha. As a member of the International Juggler’s Association, Niah’s skills in comedy and juggling have been a unique way to connect with people of all ages. In 2014, Niah transitioned to a position as the Southwest Area Director for Wycliffe Associates where he continued to use his abilities in communication, music, and drama. He and Allisha arranged and hosted 140 events all over the west coast raising funds for Bible translation projects. Now, Niah and Allisha’s goal is to inspire concert audiences to use their own abilities to their fullest potential for God’s glory.

Allisha Merrill
After landing the leading role in her high school play, Allisha fell in love with theater and decided to study Interpretative Speech in college. After earning her B.A. in speech and minoring in music, she taught speech on the collegiate level for two years while earning her M.A. degree in Performance Studies. She also had the opportunity to travel on several touring groups across the country. She performed major roles for productions with the Classic Players, Living Gallery, and Vesper Programs as well as created two original 50-minute one-man shows. In addition to her scholastic experiences, Allisha partnered with local schools and community centers to conduct workshops focusing on speech, physical comedy and pantomime. Her work with the Greenville Shakespeare Company and other community theater groups further broadened her directing and acting experience. After marrying Mattaniah in 2012, she served as pianist, vocalist, drama instructor, and ladies’ conference speaker for Merrill Ministries. In 2014, she and Niah traveled for Wycliffe Associates hosting banquets for Bible translation projects until beginning their new concert ministry in 2016.

Expect to hear a variety of musical sounds and blended styles that encourage and focus hearts to bring praise to the Creator of music. We have been blessed to partner with many talented writers, orchestrators and musicians around the country to produce quality music that is both God-honoring and relevant. We’re currently offering a concert program that works well in a service slot or as an outreach event during the week. You can hear some samples of our music from our latest CD project HERE.

God has provided a beautiful tour vehicle for us to travel in, which also doubles as our overnight accommodations. We travel fully equipped with our own audio/visual system and instruments. This was made possible only through God’s generous provision and direct answers to prayer.

Allisha and I have had the privilege of serving on multiple ministry teams representing several organizations, camp staff positions, and as well as our own family ministries. I grew up traveling in ministry with my Dad, Randy Merrill, who is an evangelist. When Allisha and I married in 2012, we were deeply involved in a thriving church plant—Palmetto Baptist Church in Powdersville, SC. They commissioned us as some of their first missionaries as we stepped out in faith to hit the road full-time doing music and children’s programs with my dad’s ministry for 2.5 years. That was a wonderful time of growth for us to serve together as a couple!

In 2014, God directed us to join with Wycliffe Associates in Bible translation. God really used this time to broaden our ministry experiences and give us a greater burden for missions and Bible poverty around the world. We organized and hosted over 170 events and meetings all over the west coast promoting the ministry of Bible translation. In January of 2016, we sensed God leading us to step out in faith once again and start our own music and drama ministry. We are humbled to minister to people all over the country, and we are excited to see how God will continue to grow and lead us on this journey.

Honoring the Lord by providing excellent and encouraging programs is top priority.

Niah and Allisha are constantly honing their skills to remove distractions and present Scriptural truth that’s excellent, accurate, and relevant.

Each performance is carefully crafted to be engaging, aesthetically pleasing, and memorable.
